just wanted to send a quick note about Chris.

I was in your store a few months ago selling some rings. Chris was awesome!! She walked me thru the process and gave me some great pointers for the future. She was understanding, caring, thoughtful, personably and helpful. She listened to me to and my problem as to why I had to sell the rings. It was very hard for me to sell my beautiful rings, but it had to be done. One of the rings, I cherished deeply. However I would not have gotten a good price for it; it is a Levian ring and I thought that meant a big deal. Well it didn’t. Chris talked me into resizing it and now I wear it every day.

One of the rings I was going to sell, my friend said that she would buy it. Much to my disappointment it didn’t work out with her so I was back to square one with the ring. I brought it back to your store and Chris helped me again. Again, Chris was awesome. She put me at ease and helped me get the most for the ring with the help of Leo. If it wasn’t for her I probably would have lost more on the ring. I walked out of your store, in a state of shock, with more than I hoped for and that was because of Chris.

I cannot say enough about her and how she helped me. She might think it was a small thing to help me with, but it was actually a big deal for me. Both times, I walked out of your store with a load lifted and the future a little bit brighter.

Sorry for rambling on, but I know people are quick to point out faults of others; I wanted to do the opposite and state what a great person Chris is. And once my finances get to a good place, I know I want to come back to Vincent’s and see Chris.

Sincerely

Leo, this is Sue that visited you crying and hoping to get enough money to save the house. I just wanted to let you know that my husband got his workman’s comp offer out of the blue later this same day. We were a week from losing the house and had been told the work comp offer could be another 2 months to a year down the road. Well it came today and the lawyer is going to cut a check tomorrow for enough money to cover what we need to give the mortgage company and then we will have even a little bit more left over for “gas and groceries”!

I wanted to tell you because you were so very kind to me and I wanted you to not have to worry or wonder. I feel very lucky today. I met a kind man(who I am telling EVERYONE about!) and I am going to be able to save my home. Is it God? Is it a coincidence? I don’t know but it all seems connected.

I also wanted to tell you that about an hour after we spoke I was in the car listening to Rush on the radio and heard the commercial for Vincent’s for the FIRST time! It all seems like a sign. I will most definitely pay the kindness forward and if anyone I know is in the market for jewelry I will tell them about you and about Vincent’s jewelers.(maybe someday things will be better for us and I can come and shop too…I love sparklies!) J

Thank you again and God bless you.

Thank You Vincent's Jewelers I came into Vincent's Jewelers at the beginning of September to sell some of my jewelery, which was very hard to do, but when you are struggling you have to do things that you really don't want to do. I was worried about what they were going to offer me because I had already been to a different jeweler that told me my diamond tennis bracelet was worth nothing and the ring I had was worth about $75.00. When I sat down with them, first of all they were very nice and understanding and knew how hard it was for me. They told me that my ring was worth $260 and my bracelet was worth $240 but also gave me the option to put it on consinement and what the price would be if they sold it that way. As I was talking with them they made me feel very comfortable and they said we treat everyone that comes in here as a customer whether they are selling or buying jewelery. I was crying and so ... I want to thank Leo and the rest of the staff from the bottom of my heart for taking the time and being understanding about my feelings

Just wanted to say thanks. Have made several trips to VINCENTS to sell gold. My wife realized she had lots of gold she wasnt wearing.Made other inquiries. No other company came close to the price that VINCENTS gave. One place even tried to tell us that a few of the pieces were not even real gold!! That was a red flag because we knew that was not true. Just watch where you take your gold. Go to VINCENTS. They are super nice and will treat you right. THANKS AGAIN.

I don't care what any secret or "hidden" story states, nor who pays the most. . . at least anymore. I needed money to cover my expenses over the next 6 months or so, I went on-line like so many people do today. I made a list of all the people listed in a news story of who paid the most for Gold. I went to the top of the list, and was disappointed in not only how my precious jewelry that I did not want to sell was handled but how rude most were. Many just threw my jewelry on a scale like a slab of meat, ignoring the gemstones and the beauty of them.I needed money, I needed answers, and wanted to be dealt with respect and professionalism.I found real solutions when I visited Vincent's Jewelers. They sorted out my precious jewelry, pulled out the things to solve my immediate cash needs then indicated that the other items could be sold on consignment since I had some time. NO ONE ELSE MENTIONED OR OFFERED this option. NO ONE ELSE listened or heard that I needed the money over a 6 month period.Simply, they treated me and my jewelry with respect, just like they say on their website. They solved my immediate need and put the rest on consignment. Over the 6 month period, they helped me pick the items that I should cash out as needed and if nothing sold on consignment. During the time, some items sold on consignment, for a lot more than the cash price, I also cashed out some of the pieces. When it was all done, and I could go back to work, I was able to keep some of my favorite pieces. NO OTHER place would have made that possible. So again, if you want to be treated like a number, and your jewelry handled like meat go to all the "highest price paid places" . . . if you want real solutions to your real problems I whole heartedly recommend you got to Vincent's Jewelers.

My family has been struggling to financially keep our head above water, I decided to make the painful decision of selling my jewelry. I went to my local jeweler in xxx, MO (Town just south of St. Louis). I felt that since this local jeweler was a long time businessman from Our own community, I could count on him.  The experience was downright insulting, the first question he asked me was “How much I wanted for my Jewelry”. I had no idea what to ask for . . . I felt that if a answered low, he would be happy to buy it for less, if I asked too high he would attack the notion. I took the latter, and yes he told me I was dead wrong and way off. He offered a number I felt did not seem right.

So I searched the internet and visited a number of buying places . . . I found a place that not only treated me much better, but made me feel like a person. He asked about me and my situation, he simply was trying to find the best way to truly help me. They did not ask me how much I wanted, they sat down and sorted through all my jewelry, and actually explained what he was doing. Since he was talking to me, not trying to rip me off, he learned what I needed now out of the jewelry I was trying to sell, but also what I needed in the long run.

He looked up at me and said, this pile can’t be resold, the value of the gold and gemstones is $$$$. Let me be clear, he did not ask me how much I wanted for my jewelry . . . he gave me what he could pay. Let me be clear on another key point, the price he offered me for less than ½ of my jewelry was 2 times more than what my “local Jeweler” offered. The other half, he indicated that he could try to sell the items in his store on consignment. No one even offered me that option. In the time frame I had (Less than 2 months), he was able to sell only one item on consignment, but that one item brought more than the “local Jeweler” offered for all my jewelry. I ended up cashing out the rest with this great store.

I ended up getting 6 times more than the “local Jeweler”. Now you want to know, where is this great place to bring your jewelry when you need to sell it, Vincent’s Jewelers in St. Louis. Leo cares about the true needs of his customers. After visiting my “local Jeweler” and 4 other places in and around St. Louis, Leo and Vincent’s Jewelers is by far the best, they care about you, they offer options no one even mentioned.

As far as the “Local Jeweler”, from my own small town . . . . Shame on you for stealing, yes stealing

Please Please and Please, go to Vincent’s before you make the same mistakes I made.

Note: I love this story, a story that regretfully must be told, as there are many established entities that are taking advantage of people in need. But I paraphrased and adjusted part of this note, as not to divulge any other company. The person also asked to have no name listed.

Dear Leo,

I would like to take a moment to pay you a great deal of "THANKS" for the great customer service you provide me on Saturday, November 26, 2011 for the consignment agreement we had.

Leo, I have to admit, I was feeling pretty low when I came back into Vicent"s Jewelers. Then, after you took the time to sit down with me to better understanding my situation, you worked well above my expectations and you put very confident smile back on my face.

Like I said, this was not the way I was wanting to start my Holiday season, but with your excellent customer service, I cannot think of a better place I could have kicked my season off right...Thanks again Leo for your excellent customer service & best wishes to you and the entire crew of Vicent's Jewelers this Holiday season.

Sincerely,

David G

Gold Buying Testimonials

Late last year my husband and I found ourselves in desperate need of cash due to job loss and the terrible economy. We realized we had to sell our jewelery, including wedding rings and went to visit our local jeweler of many years. We were surprised that we couldn't get anywhere close to the amount we paid for our items. We found ourselves visiting many jewelers in the area and calling many advertised 'buy gold for cash' jewelers that are so popular these days. Then we met Leo Anglo, the manager at Vincent's Jewelers. Not only did he quote and purchase our pieces at more than the price we were offered from other jewelers, we sold our large carat diamond stone more than $1500 over the amount offered by any other store advertised nationally. The staff is very friendly, courteous, and professional, but with a family atmosphere. Mr. Anglo is one of the kindest and most knowledgeable gold and precious stone jewelers in the business. He took the time to hear our story and he made sure we got the maximum dollar for our merchandise. He did not try to take advantage of us because of our situation and there was no pressure. We now have a wonderful relationship with Vincent's and, in particular, Leo, who I highly recommend to anyone looking for the highest price for their fine jewelry and precious stones. I consider Leo to be a friend. Thank you Leo and Vincent's Jewelers.

Hello Leo:

In the past when I have had gold and silver to sell I have taken it to two large companies that promote quite heavily. I quite frankly had never heard of Vincen'ts till I saw you on Fox 2 and I had just acquired a large selection of gold and jewelry and I thought I would stop by you first for an estimate then take it to one of the dealers I had worked with in the past. Boy, am I glad I did. When I entered your store you were quite busy but I was warmly greeted, offered a chair and refreshments and waited till you were available. I was taken into a private room where you verified the content, weighed it, explained the two options and gave me an estimate that was right on. . . . . I was so pleased with the price I was quoted, instead of going on to my usual place for a quote I accepted your offer. I strongly recomend anyone who is selling gold, jewelry . . . . to stop by Vincent's for a quote before you make your decision. I was very pleased with the amount and I believe you will be to.

Sincerely,

The only place I will GO, they helped find a way to save my house by helping me liquidate my jewelry. NO other store even cared to help. Leo spent hours sorting through all my jewelry, some was melted for the gold, others were sold on consignment. They sold my diamond for alot more than anyone else offered. In fact, after leaving it on consignment for a month, I went back in to cash out the diamond, he insisted on giving him more time on consignment. He asked me when I needed the money, I told him I had about 45 days. He talked me into giving him more time to sell it on consignment, and could always fall back to cashing out in time.He called me 3 weeks later with 3 times the cash number I was willing to sell it to him for.Leo could have just bought it for the lower amount I was willing to take for it, but he insisted he wanted to get more for me to keep my house. I asked the staff if he was doing this just for me, they said things like this happen all the timeUPDATE: Still struggling, but Vincent's sold a diamond bracelet for me to keep in me one more month. Hoping for Mortgage Modification this month. All I can say, the people at Vincent's have done everything possible on the jewelry side for us.

I have two problems that "Helped" each other. First problem; got a divorce and needed money. Second Problem, I was a QVC & HSN Junkie, before the divorce, and bought tons of gold jewelry. Sooo I went all over . . .places in the newspaper, places featured in the news story, places found on the internet. So I became the expert on divorces, not watching TV, and driving all over St. Louis. There was one place, one guy, that was my winner . . . . Leo at Vincent's Jewelers. Was professional and kind, he sat and listened to my life story . . . then he looked up at me and said "I can solve all this for you, if you trust me, I will take all your gold in its own container to the refiner, I will just take a small percentage for doing so" He explained that he will show me all the documents and the check from the refiner, he explained that the wieghts I leave and the weights checked in at the refiner will match, he also estimated the final purity and estimated the amount. He also called me the poster child for QVC Anonymous. No joke here, the final amount in my pocket was $8,200 more than anyone else . . .and I mean anyone else. Leo told me he would not list all my quotes, he just wanted a testimonial for Vincent's, not an attack on others.

Thanks Leo and Vincent's

I have been a loyal customer of XXXXX Jewelers for over 17 years. I have purchased more than 100k worth of jewelry, and have refered many of my friends. I have accumulated Large Herringbone chains, Rope chains and nugget style Jewelry. Needless to say, I don't wear any of it anymore, I guess I just grew out of that phase. Anyway, with gold so high, I went to my Jeweler sell all of it. I got his quote first, then decided to google search to just get another bid. I ended up at stlouisgoldbuyers.com by Vincent's Jewelers.I visited the store, and was helped by Leo. I gave him my "stash" to make an offer. He sorted them into different piles, something my jeweler didnt't do; my Jeweler just threw it all on scale. Without knowing me, and without knowing I had already got an offer by "My Jeweler"; Leo looked at me and offered $480 more than "My Jeweler". I was absolutley shocked . . . so I had to ask him, why he could offer me more. He gave me a what sounded like a very nice and sound answer, but my answer is simple, "My Old Jeweler" was going to screw me.I have not been back to my old "Jeweler" since. My "Jeweler", is now Vincent's Jewelers. If they can treat me right on selling gold . . . I feel very confident that they will take care of me on my purchases. I have made many purchases since, and have brought in family and friends to buy and sell.
See Leo, I kept it clean !

I wanted to sell some of my old gold jewelry . . . I found VIncent's On the Internet and paid them a visit. They offered me $940 for the gold jewelry. Leo was very Professional and treated me with respect, But I still wanted to check around . . . so I visited XXXXX that has a huge full page ad in the newspaper. They were about 8 miles away. Not only did XXXXXX offer me just $720 for the same jewelry, they were rude. What Vincent's Claims on their website is not just a claim . . ." All or Our customers receive the same Courtesy, Respect, and Professionalism, whether they are Buying, Selling, Trading, Repairing, or Appraising" They are the place to sell your Jewelry and Diamonds.
